EDUKASI INTERAKTIF MEDIA BOOKLET DAN KARTU GIZI SEIMBANG PADA MASYARAKAT PESISIR KOTA AMBON

ABSTRACT
Indonesia is currently facing multiple nutrition problems, both undernutrition and overnutrition, caused by low knowledge of balanced nutrition guidelines. Education is an easy and practical step to improve nutrition problems through scientific means. The purpose of community service through community partnership programs is as an effort
to increase knowledge and be able to produce healthy food independently using local food ingredients that are easily available at relatively cheap prices. The method was carried out by applying interactive education using booklet media and balanced nutrition cards in Batu Merah Village. The training participants were the Harapan Jaya Coastal Community, Batu Merah Village, Ambon City, totaling 20 people. The results obtained are booklets and cards as health education communication media can increase the average knowledge about healthy food made from local food and nutritious. The evaluation results showed that there was an increase in average knowledge before and after education by 35.71 to reach 92.86. This activity adds to the participants' insight and understanding of healthy living does not need to be expensive, it can be realized by consuming a variety of local foods that are nutritious and easily obtained. This interactive education is very practical and able to increase participants understanding.
